"Hi I'm Ben from Andover, MA. 19, and going to college. I write songs, play ,guitar and sing. I hope you like them.
Q&A With Ben Carter by Trip C
Q: How long have you been playing music?
Ben: Including the recorder? Just kidding, about four years now.
Q: Who are your biggest musical influences?
Ben: Howie Day, Jason Mraz, Damien Rice, John Mayer, Dashboard Confessional, Guster, Weezer, Phish, The Beatles, Travis. A whole lot of things into one i guess. You can pick them all out from just a song.
Q: Now everyone is dying to know, what is your favorite food?
Ben: I love food. Taco Bell all the way. Chineese, Pizza, Wendys and The 99 Honey BBQ Wings. The top one might be 'Various Soups in a Bread Bowl'
Q: Whats your hometown?
Ben: I'm from Andover, Ma. home of the golden warriors.
Q: When were you born?
Ben: I'm 19, born on a cold night of November 26, 1985.
Q: How big are you? (popularity wise i mean)
Ben: Think skyscraperatastic.
Q: Some quick likes and dislikes?
Ben: I like dogs and i hate cats.
Q: So what are you listening to right now?
Ben: The Killers - Hot Fuss, Damien Rice - O, Chris Thile - Deceiver, John Mellencamp - Words & Music. Jason Mraz. Coldplay
Q: Who are the other band members that appear on the October Nights EP?
Ben: Sam Silverman on the bass, Tony Camillo on the drums, Dave Balesta helped write some of the songs, all of those guys are awesome. Andrew "Hempy" Hempstead who played bass in the band before Sam is too.
Q: What is your favorite song to play? Cover and Original?
Ben: Um. I'd say for cover Collide by Howie Day because people know it, but if we're goin on the other stuff I'd have to say Split Screen Sadness or Wheel by John Mayer. Good stuff. My stuff I'd have to say Count and Bet because it's very fun and happy. Or Highway 93 because of the big loop outro.
Q: Do you plan on recording new songs?:
Ben: Yup.
